Rooster, not sure what breed

Another rooster painting while I am waiting for my new little chicks to arrive. I am smitten with their colors and patterns. I am not sure if this is a pure bred rooster or a mix.

Salmon Favorolle Rooster

I have been completely taken over by my desire to have chickens this year so while I am waiting for my chicks to arrive and my eggs to hatch I did a couple of rooster paintings. This is a pure bred rooster. Isn't he gorgeous? I must have one of these in the flesh!

Tree Frog

This is a little tree frog. He is available to purchase. I think he is about 8 X 10. I painted him for one of my Ebay groups and he didn't sell because I listed him too close to the Holidays. Cute little guy and fun to paint.

I did this little guy back in November when I was working on the doggie portraits and just never got him posted. He sold on Ebay.

Dante

I painted this one over the Holidays of a friends horse. I had some problems with this one as I the paper I was using was not accepting the paint well. I have had trouble with this paper in the past so I am just going to use it up and go to Arches instead.

Koi Jewels

This was done for my online animal art group. The theme was red and orange. I really like how this one turned out. The background went together well and I finally achieved the brightness of color that is common with Koi. This one sold on Ebay.
