This is going to be a busy weekend for me. I had these two little doggies arrive on Thursday to spend the weekend. The brown one is my min pin Tazzi.
Then today here came this cutie, Sammy the pug. They were all having so much fun chasing around the yard.

And this one is Sammy and Oreo.

I did get a little painting done on a portrait of Oreo and Jax for their owner.
Here is the work in progress.

Morning Glory

There are wild morning glory growning all over my yard, well all over the neighborhood, to the point of being an obnoxious weed but since one of my watercolor groups made the morning glory one of our monthly projects, I did a painting from one of the photos I had taken last year. They really are very pretty and graceful if only they wouldn't wind themselves up every post and fence available and then some!
This is done on 140lb Fabriano Artistico paper. Size is about 8 X 10.

This is the final version of this painting. There were times when I thought I would just quit working on it because I felt it just wasn't going right and I am still not sure if I am excited about it but this is it.
Watercolor on Fabriano Artistico 140# paper.

Chinese crested dog, watercolor

I was supposed to post a painting of a Chinese Crested on Ebay today for an animal group that I belong to and hadn't even touched it so I got busy and painted this in about an hour. It didn't turn out as well as if I had spent more time but I think it is OK. I love this breed! I know many folks don't like them because they are essentially hairless except for the ears, top of the head, top of the tail and the feet. I think it makes them very cute!

Gypsy Vanner filly foal, Gypsy Rose

I started this one yesterday while my students were here for a watercolor lesson. I finished her up this morning. I have her framed and ready to go to the gallery to take the place of one I sold.
Now I will get back to working on the group of running horses.

Tuesdays work

Well, it's coming along. I thought I had trashed it last night but my trusty Mr. Clean sponge came to the rescue.
I am at the point now when I am going to start refining and defining things.

Breyer and resin horses

I finished repainting this darling little Breyer miniature donkey. Isn't he cute? He is for sale on Ebay right now.

This gorgeous little guy is an artist resin that I painted for the casting company, Resins by Randy.
He is about 4 inches tall. My main source of income is painting artist resins. I buy them unpainted and then paint them in realistic colors and patterns and sell usually on Ebay.
I also take orders to custom paint artist resins that folks have bought unpainted and need an artist to paint them. I paint these with an airbrush, all detail being done by hand.
I usually paint resins on a daily basis.
