Cheetah is the monthly project for an animal art group I am a member of so this is my offering for the project. I used a photo for the cheetah but the background is made up as the background in the photo was a zoo and not the way I wanted to present this magnificent cat. I hope I have accomplished what I set out to do.

Next time you want to do a cheetah, contact me and I'll see if I can dig up the photos I took (perhaps ten years ago now -- way before my digital camera with drive mode) of a "Cheetah run" as a local college football field. Like a course for sight dogs, they lay out series of pullies and ropes and the cheetah can get up to 50-70 mph following a lure along the course. A lot of fun.
